Après avoir collaboré avec Mirwais (le fondateur de Taxi Girl), Cocorosie et fondé à Beyrouth le duo électro SOAPKILLS, l'actrice et chanteuse libanaise publie chez Crammed Discs un premier album solo hybride et intime. Epaulée par Marc Rollin (Nouvelle Vague), Yasmine Hamdan alterne sur YA NASS dialectes koweïti, palestinien, bédouin et égyptien sur des titres fusionnant folk, pop, électro et sonorités orientales.
