P16.D4 existed from 1980 to 1988 as a continuously working group ( in 1980 under the name P.D.). The only permanent member was Ralf Wehowsky (RLW), other long-time members included Roger Schönauer (RS), Ewald Weber (EW) and Stefan E. Schmidt (SES). From 1989 until 1991, there were only sporadic meetings, in each of these years the group recorded just one track. Since 1992, RLW works under own name.
