The Beat est un groupe de ska britannique, originaire de Birmingham, formé en mars 1979. Avec The Specials, The Selecter, Madness, Bad Manners, c'est un des groupes les plus populaires et représentatifs du mouvement ska du début des années 1980 au Royaume-Uni.
Réédition Deluxe de leur troisième album sorti en 1982 et qui comprend un second CD avec des raretés (John Peel sessions, b-sides, etc.) ainsi qu'un DVD avec des clips vidéos et un concert réalisé en première partie de The Police en juillet 1982. (DM)
