"Sinoms" is a sound work composed and recorded by Michael Snow. This CD was originally produced for the exhibit "Paysages verticaux / Musée du Québec, 1989", curator Louise Déry. The composition uses 22 voices recorded in Toronto and Quebec City. These voices read the names of the 34 mayors of Quebec since the first, Elzéar Bédard, elected April 25, 1833. to the mayor at the time of the recording, 1989, Jean Pelletier... Cf.
