"In this concert recording from 2002 we present sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan performing two ragas traditionally associated with the rainy season. First a full alaap in Raga Miyan Ki Malhar, followed by compositions in Raga Desh. The Miyan Ki Malhar includes a rarely performed tar paran section where Fateh Singh Gangani accompanies on pakhawaj.
