Chanteur à la voix de ténor et claviériste américain Nigel Hall (Lettuce, Soulive) présente son premier album solo baptisé « Ladies & Gentlemen... ». Le projet produit et en partie co-écrit par son ami Eric Krasno contient dix morceaux de Soul Funk et R&B old school intemporels. En tout, cinq originaux entrainants et cinq belle revisites de Benny Latimore, The Isley Brothers ou encore Roy Ayers. On notera aussi la présence d'une invitée, la chanteuse Alicia Chakour qui chante sur une reprise de Stanley Clarke « I Just Want To Love You ». (CL)
