All sounds on this recording are produced with the Feedback Machine apparatus which has been under constant development and expansion since its inception in 1987. In brief, custom circuitry defines numerous and continuously variable signal paths to, from, and within a large bank of digital time delay devices. A device which sees its output at its own input is shocked into feedback oscillation; this is the initial germ from which all further sounds are derived.
