LEON GURVITCH (* 1979) est un compositeur, pianiste et chef d'orchestre né en Biélorussie. Il a fondé son propre ensemble LEON GURVITCH PROJET en 2000. Lui-même caractérise sa musique comme "world jazz". Influence perceptible de la tradition musicale d'Europe orientale, particulièrement russe, balkanique ainsi que klezmer. Le trompettiste new-yorkais FRANK LONDON (co-fondateur du célèbre groupe "The Klezmatics») est présent dans cet enregistrement réalisé dans un studio à Berlin en 2009.
