ECHOES OF A NORTHERN SKY

"The solution is the outcome of this CD: transcrebed Finnish and Norwegian folk music arranged for improvisational quartet, The Northern Lights Ensemble. This band is by no means trying to be a Scandinavian folk band, nor does it wish to be. We are simply having a great time playing, in our own way, some very beautiful music that I feel is echoing down to me via my ancestors. It is out of a deep respect for the music of Finland and Norway that this project has been created. I sincerely hope you will enjoy it simply for that it is.".
