Stavöstrand uses several different influences in his way of constructing pieces. He collects small pieces from other forms of soundings like for example modern dance music and japanese noise music. These he uses for his decomposition's in a form of contemporary music concrete and electro-acoustics, without limitations or restrictions. Stavöstrand wants to do as many live improvisations/performances as possible, where he uses a powerbook as an instrumenttool to realize his ideas, also he's vary interested in the randomness and unexpected in such contexts.
