Okonkolo est un projet du percussionniste et chanteur newyorkais Abraham "Aby" Rodriguez, produit par Jacob Plasse (Orquesta Akokán, Daptone). Le groupe réinvente les rituels de la santeria cubaine, en honneur aux orishas. Les chants sont accompagnés des tambours bata traditionnels mais aussi de cuivres. (ASDS)
