Artiste née à Rio De Janeiro, Flavia Coehlo s'installe à Paris en 2006 où elle enregistre ce premier album qu'elle décrit comme un "carnet de voyage". Elle y mêle les sonorités de la bossa-nova, de la samba aux rythmes du reggae. Elle fait également preuve d'une grande polyvalence vocale, alternant sans mal flow ragga-rap et chant suave et enjoué.
