Le projet de l'Afro-Haitian Experimental Orchestra trouve ses origines dans un voyage du percussionniste nigérian Tony Allen à Haïti. Il y a rencontré des musiciens locaux et a enregistré ce disque, mariant percussions, afrobeat et rythmes vaudou. (ASDS)
